The tremolo is wonderfully responsive, making this a great guitar for surf and garage. You can’t find them on Reverb for less than $125-$150 a piece. These pickups are quite desirable these days. The guitar sounds amazing - lots of room to make a lot of tones out of this one, this is one versatile guitar. The bridge and truss are fully adjustable and still have play. This guitar plays great really low action given the age of the guitar. Teisco ET-440 Spectrum 4 Pickup Made in Japan 1960s MIJ + Hard. The pickups each have and on / off switch and then there is a “Rhythm / Solo” tone circuit. Teisco Teardrop Guitar 1960 Sunburst Japan Low Action. I replaced the mute foam, so the mute works and makes for some neat jazzy tones. This one is in great shape, other than some mild dings and scratches and one small chip in the side, it looks almost brand new. It was made by Matsumoku in Japan in the late 60s. Comes just as you see it with the well used functional case. ![]() The bridge Has been replaced at some point and the vibrato arm is missing. Has a few dings and light scratches, nothing major. Does show some signs of aging, use and wear, but it has that mojo feel that you would expect from a 50+ year old instrument.
